Radical Islam on increase in Balkan

Eshte ky Titulli i nje Artikulli te botuar sot me daten 19 Shtatore 2010 ne Revisten "The Sunday Republican" qe eshte gazeta me e lexuar ne Qytetin e Waterburyt me rrethine ku edhe jetojne nje perqindje e madhe e Popullates Shqiptare pjesa dermuese e te cilve vijne nga Korca me rrethine si dhe nga Struga e vise te tjera te Trevave tona ne Maqedoni por koheve te fundit kane emigruar Shqiptare edhe nga Kosova, nga trevat tona ne Mal te Zi, si dhe vise te tjera te Shqiperise. Waterbury eshte nje Qytet mesatar pernga madhesia ne Shtetin Kenektiket te SHBAve dhe mund te krahasohet perafersisht me Prizrenin e Kosoves. Ky Qytet eshte bere streh per shume Shqiptare te cilet emigruan ketu ne SHBA prej atyre Gjeneratave me te vjetra deri te vala e refugjatve me te ri nga Kosova te debuar me dhune gjenocidiale nga politikat serbosllave te instaluara ne ish Jugosllavi. Me punen, sjelljet dhe veprimtarit e tyre ky komunitet cmohet lart nga komunitetet tjera qe jetojne dhe punojne ketu. Edhe Gazeta ne fjal pothuajse cdo dite raporton mbi aktivitetet tona sipas programit te saj. Andaj si komunitet kemi nje konsiderate te larte dhe jemi inkuadruar dhe integruar mjaft mire ne shoqerine Amerikane ku bashkpunojme, bashkjetojme dhe veprojme se bashku ne te gjitha poret e jetes shoqerore pa dallim Race, Kombesije apo perkatsije Fetare. Mirpor edhe perkunder fakteve reale qe jane sjellur ne kete artikull ku me anen e nje Kenge te mallkuar ne jutube e cila eshte kenduar nga goje e Shqiptarve pa marre parasyshe se nga do vijne ate, nuk e besoj se do na i luhasin maredhanijet kaq te mira qe i kemi krijuar me vite te terea ne kete Qytet. Mirpor jame shume i bindur se secili prej nesh ka rene sot ne nje mendim te thelle se si do te takohet me shoket the miqet tane Amerikan te cilet e kane lexuar tashme kete artikul i cili te le te kuptosh se ne Shqiptaret po u punuakam dikujt te keqen pas shpines dhe kemi mendim kaq te keq per ushtrine Amerikane e cila eshte aq ngusht e lidhur me popullaten ketu. Si tu spjegohet qe keta kengetar me ze prej Bilbilit kenduakan kaq bukur per Osama ben Ladinin e kunder nje ushtrie qe shumica e Shqiptarve kudo qe jetojne e konsiderojne si Ushtri te veten. A thua ku do te na coje kjo Ideologji e ketyre Ekstremistve dhe Vehabistve Islamist? A thua ku do te na coj Ideologjija e atyre Imamve Shqiptare te cilet paskurpull fyejn e shajne Figurat me te rendesishme Botrore vetem e vetem per interesa Religjioze? A thua e dijne keta Zotrinje Shqipetare qofshin edhe te Krishtere se ka ardhur koha te mendojme ndryshe dhe se pa Ameriken do te ishim edhe me te roberuar? A thua e dijne keta Zotrinje se keshtu e pengojne njohjen dhe prezantimin tone ne Boten e civilizuar edhe ne kete kohe kur kemi nevoje per njohje te reja per Kosoven? A thua e dijne keta Zotrinje se ne kete menyre rrezikojne integrimin tone ne Europe? A thua deri kure me keshtu ne kete menyre? Me anen e ketyre Kengeve dhe ketyre Gjesteve per neve ku do qe jemi do te jete me veshtire. Keta njerz duhet ta dijne se populli Shqiptare nuk mund ti duroj me keto Tortura dhe Shantazhe qe jane bere nje barre e rende ne jeten e tyre. Ne ketu ne Vaterbury e kemi nje patriot Shqiptare i cili po perpiqet qe ne menyre sa me te denje ta paraqes realitetin per popullin tone. Aj ka dalur haptaz dhe po flet per torturat qe u jane bere Shqiptarve gjat gjith Historise. Zeqir Berisha ua ka bere te qarte me kohe me Artikujt e tij Gazetes ne fjale si dhe me mia Gazetave te tjera se cili eshte qellimi i Armiqve te popullit Shqiptare. Ky perkrahes i Veteranve Amerikan i njohur si Fag Man (Flamuretari i Waterburyt) i eshte bashkuar "Tea Party" dhe bashk me ta po perhape nje te vertet te madhe si per Ameriken dhe per popullin Shqiptare poashtu. Ne te ardhmen do ju sjellim Intervistat, Bisedat dhe inqizime te tjera lidhur me te sepse aje ishte edhe Major nderi i qytetit me rastin e kremtimit te Pervjetorit te pare te pavarsise se Kosoves ketu ne Waterbury, si the ka ide te mrekullueshme per afrimin e popujve dhe Komuniteteve.

SKOPJE, Macedonia - An online music video praising Osama bin Laden has driven home a troubling new reality: A radical brand of Islam embraced by al-Qaida and the Taliban is gaining a foothold in the Balkans.

"Oh Osama, annihilate the American army. Oh Osama, raise the Muslims' honor," a group of Macedonian men sing in Albanian, in video posted on You Tube last year and picked up by Macedonian media this August. "In September 2001 you conquered a power. We all pray for you."

Although most of Macedonia's ethnic Albanian minority are Muslims, they have generally been secular. But experts are now seeing an increasing radicalization in pockets of the country's Islamic community, particularly after armed groups from the ethnic Albanian minority, which forms a quarter of the population of 2.1 million, fought a brief war against Macedonian government forces in 2001.

It's a trend seen across the Balkans and has raised concerns that the region, which includes new European Union member Bulgaria, could become a breeding ground for terrorists with easy access to Western Europe. Many fear that radicalized European Muslims with EU passports could slip across borders and blend into society.

At the center of the issue is the Wahhabisect, an austere brand of Islam most prevalent in Saudi Arabia and practiced by bin Laden and the Taliban.

"Wehhabisem in Macedonia, the Balkans and in Europe has become more aggressive in the last 10 years," said Jakub Selimovski, head of religious education in Macedonia's Islamic community. He said Wehhabis were establishing a permanent presence in Macedonia where none existed before, and that "they are in Bosnia, here, Kosovo, Serbia, Croatia and lately they have appeared in Bulgaria."

It is the first time a high ranking official in the former Yugoslav republic's Islamic community has agreed to speak openly about the presence and threat of radical Islam.

In Bulgaria nearly one-sixth of the population of 7.6 million are Muslims who adhere to conventional Sunni beliefs. Ethnic peace has been maintained in the last 20 years. As elsewhere in the Balkans, however, Wahhabi incursions have led to a struggle for control of religion and Islamic community-owned property.
