In 1948 Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit decided a new formula for Championship: fall 1948-spring 1949 one, according to Occidental football system; but on March 31st, 1949 Federata Sportive Shqiptare annulled 1948-49 season under Soviet pressures. When Albania cleared up all Soviet influences (December 3rd, 1961), it started Occidental football system from 1962-63 Championship
